Reducer motor refers to the integrated body of reducer and motor (motor), which can also be called gear reducer motor or gear motor. Basically, it is supplied in complete set by reducer manufacturer after integrated assembly.
Its working principle is to reduce the speed greatly by passing the power of the motor through the gear (or worm gear) reducer, so as to increase the output torque of the motor, so as to meet the needs of mechanical equipment. This power transmission equipment has a key role that can not be ignored - "increasing force and reducing speed". It uses gears (or worm gears) at all levels to reduce speed. The reducer is composed of gear pairs at all levels.
The most commonly used types of gearmotors are: coaxial helical gearmotor; parallel shaft helical gearmotor; bevel gear helical gearmotor; bevel gear worm gearmotor.
The reduction motor mainly has the following three functions:
1、 Reduce speed: the speed of the motor through the reduction gearbox to achieve the required speed, that is, the output speed;
2、 Increase torque: under the same power condition, the slower the output speed is, the greater the torque is, and vice versa;
3、 Change the direction of transmission: for example, the bevel gear reducer motor can transmit torque 90 degrees vertically.
